At least 20 people were injured, including six of them with bullet wounds, in a clash between two groups of villagers over establishing supremacy in Gopalganj. The incident took place at Char Shuktail village under Gopalganj Sadar upazila on Friday morning.

The pellet-injured victims were identified as Nayon Sheikh, 25, Raihan Sikdar, 35, Parvez Molla, 45, Rubel Molla, 25, Anwar Sheikh, 22 and Mehedi Hasan, 24. They were rescued and admitted to 250 Bedded General Hospital, Gopalganj.
