Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Polls, the Election Commission (EC) has set Monday as the final date for voters to apply for address changes due to relocation.

According to the EC’s directives, voters must submit their applications for address updates by the deadline of Monday to ensure inclusion in the final voter list, an EC Secretariat letter stated here on Tuesday.

The letter confirmed that the EC has approved a comprehensive timeline for receiving and processing applications related to voter address changes prior to finalizing the electoral roll ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Polls. Under the schedule, the last date for submitting applications for voter relocation is Monday, while the deadline for disposal of submitted applications (issue, approval, or cancellation) by the Registration Officer is November 17.

The final voter list for the 13th National Parliamentary Elections will be published on November 18, EC Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed said.
