Prime Video has dropped the much-anticipated trailer for the third season of its acclaimed spy thriller The Family Man, bringing back Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari — this time as a fugitive hunted by both new enemies and his own agency.
Unveiled at a fan and media event in Mumbai on Friday, the trailer teases a tense new chapter created by Raj & DK under their D2R Films banner. In Season 3, Srikant finds himself racing against time to save his family and country from a looming danger — with the hunter turning into the hunted, reports Variety.
“For four years, fans have been asking me, ‘When is Srikant Tiwari coming back?’ And now we finally have the answer,” said Bajpayee. “This season is bigger, bolder, and more thrilling, pushing Srikant into his toughest situation yet. Thanks to Raj and DK’s vision and Prime Video’s support, The Family Man has become one of India’s most beloved series.”
The new season introduces two powerful adversaries: Rukma, played by Jaideep Ahlawat (Paatal Lok), and Meera, portrayed by Nimrat Kaur (The Lunchbox).
“I’ve always admired Raj and DK for creating such remarkable work,” said Ahlawat. “It’s an honour to join a series that’s loved worldwide. I can’t reveal much about my role, but audiences will definitely be surprised to see this side of me.”
Written by Raj, DK and Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora, the series is directed by Raj & DK along with Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth.
Kaur, who said she’s been a fan since Season 1, called joining the cast “a dream come true.” “Playing Meera was both exhilarating and demanding — performing alongside talents like Manoj and Jaideep raised the bar,” she said. “The writing is gripping, and the twists will make audiences binge the entire season in one go.”
The trailer highlights the show’s trademark mix of sharp humour, intense action, and the blurring of Srikant’s professional and personal lives. This season, Srikant is on the run with his family, pursued by TASC — his own intelligence agency — while facing dangerous new foes.
“Season 3 upends Srikant’s life completely,” said creators Raj & DK. “He’s now forced to flee with his family while confronting two new formidable threats — Rukma and Meera. Jaideep and Nimrat perfectly embody the menace and depth of these characters. The stakes are higher than ever, with the story packed with tension, twists, and emotional conflict.”
The returning cast includes Sharib Hashmi as J.K. Talpade, Priyamani as Suchitra Tiwari, Ashlesha Thakur as Dhriti, Vedant Sinha as Atharv, Shreya Dhanwanthary as Zoya, and Gul Panag as Saloni.
The Family Man Season 3 premieres exclusively on Prime Video on November 21, streaming in India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
