Sajid Mahbub has been elected as a global board member of the International Advertising Association (IAA), one of the world’s most influential bodies representing marketers, advertising agencies, and media organizations across 77 countries.

In addition to this appointment, he will also serve as vice president, chapter development for the Asia Pacific region.

With nearly two decades of experience in marketing, communications, and brand leadership, Sajid currently holds key global roles as the chief marketing and digital officer of the Asia Marketing Federation and secretary general of the World Marketing Council.

His career spans strategic brand leadership, industry development, and cross-border collaboration, earning him recognition as one of the region’s emerging thought leaders in modern marketing.

The International Advertising Association, headquartered in New York City, is widely regarded as the global compass of marketing and communications, fostering ethical practices, creative excellence, and market growth worldwide.

Sajid’s election to its global board marks a significant milestone for Bangladesh and the Asia Pacific region, reinforcing the region’s growing influence on the global communication and advertising landscape.

His appointment is expected to accelerate regional chapter growth, foster stronger industry alliances, and amplify Asia Pacific’s voice in global advertising discourse — bringing new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and professional excellence.
