A fire broke out in the Korail slum in Banani, Dhaka.
A total of 21 units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence are working to extinguish the fire.
The Fire Service received the fire report at 5:22pm on Tuesday.
Rashed Bin Khalid, duty officer at the Fire Service control room, said: “After receiving the news, seven units of the Fire Service rushed to the site to control the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage could not be determined immediately.”
