Local BNP organized a doa and milad mahfil in Moulvibazar, seeking early recovery and good health of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. The programme was held on Friday after Jumu’ah prayers at Chowmuhana Dewani Mosque in the town.
At the gathering, district BNP convenor Faizul Karim Mayun and member secretary Abdur Rahim Ripon urged all to pray for Khaleda Zia’s early recovery, good health and long life. After the milad, BNP men also offered munajat for her speedy recovery.
Those in attendance included BNP central executive committee member and former president of Canada BNP, Faisal Ahmed Chowdhury, district BNP convening committee members Mizanur Rahman Miza, Abul Kalam Belal, Mahmudur Rahman, Muhitur Rahman Helal and Ashrafuzzaman Khan Nahaj, district Chhatra Dal president Rubel Ahmed, district Swechchhasebak Dal member secretary Ahmed Ahad, joint convenors Abdul Hannan and Mamunur Rashid, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies.
