Child Sajid was rescued 32 hours after falling into an abandoned tubewell shaft in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi. He was pulled out from a depth of 60 feet hole and taken to Tanore Upazila Health Complex. It is still unclear whether the child is alive or not.
He was rescued at 9:05pm on Thursday.
The information was confirmed by Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Tajul Islam Chowdhury, Director of Operations at the Fire Service. He said that Sajid was found 60 feet below and immediately taken to the health complex. Doctors will determine his condition after examination.
The child fell into the opening around 1pm on Wednesday.
