Sharif Osman Hadi, a key leader of the July movement, spokesperson of the Inquilab Mancha, and a potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, will be flown to Singapore by air ambulance on Monday afternoon for advanced treatment.

The decision was made on Sunday.

The decision followed an emergency conference call held on the instructions of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, involving Cultural Adviser Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant on Health Affairs Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, Evercare Hospital specialist Dr Zafar, and Osman Hadi’s brother Omar bin Hadi.

Over the past two days, the government contacted several hospitals in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia regarding Osman Hadi’s treatment.

On Sunday, after consultations with Evercare Hospital’s specialist medical team and discussions with family members, the matter was conveyed to the chief adviser.

Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman informed him that Osman Hadi’s condition is currently stable and unchanged.

Osman Hadi will be taken to Singapore on Monday afternoon for advanced medical care. All necessary arrangements, including the air ambulance, medical team, and travel logistics, have already been completed.

Singapore General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department has made all necessary preparations for his treatment.

All expenses related to Osman Hadi’s treatment will be borne by the state. The chief adviser has instructed the relevant authorities to keep the treatment process under constant supervision.

The chief adviser has also sought prayers from the public for Osman Hadi’s speedy recovery.
