The Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) has announced to lay siege to the home affairs adviser’s office on Monday, led by Vice-President Abu Shadik Kayem.

Ducsu demands the arrest of those involved in the shooting of Osman Hadi, a nationwide operation to recover all illegal weapons, and the arrest of Awami League criminals.

Ducsu Vice-President Shadik Kayem made the announcement in a Facebook post on Sunday night at around 11pm, calling on people to gather in front of Ducsu at 12pm on Monday.

In the post, he wrote that the program would demand the arrest of the criminals who shot and attempted to kill “their brother” Osman Hadi, the launch of a nationwide crackdown to recover illegal arms, and the arrest of criminals of the banned Awami League.
