Police have arrested three activists of the banned political party, Awami League (AL), during an Operation Devil Hunt in Singra upazila of Natore district early Monday.
The arrested have been identified as Mehdi Hasan Milon, organising secretary of Singra Municipal Awami League, Jamal Uddin, 38, president of Ward No. 2 Jubo League and Hashem Ali Fakir, 48, president of Ward No. 7 Awami League, according to media reports.
According to police, they conducted drives in different areas in the upazila and arrested them.
Singra Police Station inspector (Investigation) Shafiqul Islam confirmed the detention.
