The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and Aviation and Aerospace University Bangladesh (AAUB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in the fields of training, research and development in the aviation and aerospace sector.
Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan was present as the chief guest at the MoU signing ceremony at the BAF Headquarters, said a release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate on Sunday.
Under this MoU, both the organizations will cooperate in drone and aerospace platform-based practical training, industrial training, on-the-job training, internship programs, joint research and development activities, it said.
The ISPR said this cooperation will be helpful in achieving institutional goals through improved training coordination, strong research collaboration and platform-based knowledge exchange.
This partnership is an important step in building indigenous capabilities in the field of aviation and aerospace, which will contribute to national self-reliance and technological advancement, it added.
Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) of Air Headquarters, Vice Chancellor of AAUB, BAF senior officers, members of UGC and various ministries, officials of AAUB and representatives of other civil sectors were present on the occasion.
