A new political alliance, the National Democratic Front, launched under the leadership of the Jatiya Party and JP, has announced 131 candidates for 119 parliamentary constituencies.
The announcement was made by Jatiya Party Executive Chairman Mujibul Haque Chunnu at a press conference held on Tuesday at the ballroom of Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka.
The constituencies where two candidates have been nominated are Dhaka-10, Barisal-6, Dhaka-17, Chittagong-9, Sherpur-1, Shariatpur-1, Dhaka-18, Barguna-1, Barisal-4, Jhalakathi-2 and Tangail-8.
