Naogaon hosted its first-ever three-day art camp on Thursday at Muktir Mor Zilla Parishad Park, organized by Visual Arts Naogaon. Veteran painter Rezaul Haque inaugurated the event.

Among those present were KEDIAN President Anisur Rahman, Badruzzaman, former principal Shariful Islam Khan, Advocate Abdul Bari, Visual Arts Naogaon President Rabiul Karim, and General Secretary Tahmidur Rahman Manon.

Artists from across Naogaon and other parts of the country are participating in the camp, creating artworks on-site to showcase the world of visual art to visitors. Organizers said the initiative aims to enrich Naogaon’s cultural landscape and strengthen the local visual arts movement. Distinguished and award-winning artists will be honored with mementos on the closing day.

Tahmidur Rahman Manon said the camp would inspire young people to explore creativity while sustaining Bengal’s artistic traditions. Rabiul Karim added that the camp is part of an ongoing effort to promote and preserve Bengal’s art and culture, with plans to organize similar initiatives regularly.
