The Annual EME Corps Commanders’ Conference 2025 was held at the EME Centre and School (EME C&S) in Saidpur Cantonment on Tuesday.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, attended the event as the chief guest. On his arrival at the EME Centre and School, he was received by the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Colonel Commandant of the EME Corps and Chairman of REB, the GOC 66 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Rangpur Area and the Commandant, EME C&S.

The Army Chief directed the commanders of EME units and other officers to work for further development of the EME Corps and the Bangladesh Army. He also recalled the contributions of the EME Corps to the development of the country. He urged all members of the Corps to get ready to face the challenges of the 21st century by achieving enhanced capability through modern and up-to-date training.

He expressed the hope that each member would set an example of serving the country in the days ahead.

Also present at the event were the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Colonel Commandant of the EME Corps and Chairman of REB, the Master General of the Ordnance, the Adjutant General, the GOC 66 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Rangpur Area, senior military officers from Army Headquarters and Rangpur Area, the Commandant of the EME Centre and School, commanders of all EME units of the Bangladesh Army; and members of the media.
