An unidentified group set fire to a passenger bus in the capital’s North Badda area.
The arson attack took place at around 8:15pm on Sunday on an “Asim Paribahan” bus bound for Mirpur.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badda police station Nasirul Islam confirmed the incident, saying the bus was set on fire near AMZ Hospital in North Badda.
He said it was not yet clear who was responsible for setting the bus ablaze.
