Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is addressing the nation at 12pm on Tuesday.
The address is being broadcast simultaneously on Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Betar.
During the address, he declared three days of state mourning and one-day general holiday.
