Holders Channel i won the Rangpur Riders BSJA Media Cup 2025 title with a dominant five-wicket win over Channel 24 in the final at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Monday.
Channel 24 were bowled out for just 32 as Channel i chased down the target in 2.3 overs in the six-a-side, six-over contest.
Channel i’s Subrata Gain was named player of the final after taking two wickets, while Channel 24’s Addeen Sajib, who scored 115 runs and took four wickets in five matches, was adjudged player of the tournament.
Earlier in the day, Channel i reached the final by beating Kaler Kantho by 29 runs, posting 122 for four before restricting their opponents to 93 for three. In the other semifinal, Channel 24 outplay RTV by 20 runs after scoring 126 and limiting RTV to 106.
