A crude bomb exploded in front of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) headquarters in the capital’s Segunbagicha on Thursday evening.
No casualties were reported. Police said the blast occurred around 7:30pm.
Ramna Police Station Sub-inspector Abdul Kadir confirmed the incident, saying the perpetrators arrived on a motorcycle and detonated the bomb on the opposite side of the ACC’s main gate before fleeing.
“There have been no injuries. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest those involved,” he added.
