A delegation from the Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DBCCI) held a meeting with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain.
The meeting took place on Sunday at the adviser’s office in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where detailed discussions were held on a number of key issues, including foreign direct investment (FDI), gas exploration and extraction in Bangladesh, organizing a Bangladeshi trade fair in the Netherlands, and various B2B initiatives, said a press release issued on Sunday.
Representing the DBCCI at the meeting were its President Md Shakawat Hossain Mamun, First Vice-President Md Shahid Alam, Director Md Sayem Faruki, Director Shah Md Rafkat Afsar, and Director Abdul Hakim Sumon.
During the meeting, the foreign affairs adviser said the government is always keen to work jointly with the private sector to strengthen opportunities and prospects for foreign investment in the country.
