Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has temporarily halted metro rail services after a teenager was spotted standing on the roof of a train.
The incident, confirmed in a post on DMTCL’s official Facebook page on Sunday night, occurred at the Bangladesh Secretariat Station.
Authorities said services were paused to ensure passenger safety and apologised for the inconvenience caused by the disruption.
The teenager’s identity has not yet been confirmed, and the reason for climbing onto the train roof remains unclear.
