Elite Steel welcomed a high-level delegation of 32 officials from the Military Engineering Services (MES), led by Group Captain Colonel Iqbal Hossain, for a full-day technical visit to its industrial and corporate facilities.
The program began at Elite Steel’s state-of-the-art rolling plant in Tongi, Gazipur, where the MES team was briefed on production workflows, quality assurance processes, and recent technological upgrades.
The delegation also viewed a video presentation showcasing Elite Steel’s advanced Ghorashal melting plant, which features modern systems for safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.
This was followed by an engaging question-and-answer session, allowing MES engineers to discuss process optimization, rebar standards, testing protocols, and future collaboration opportunities.
The team then proceeded on a guided factory walkthrough, observing billet handling, reheating, rolling, cooling, and automated testing procedures.
Following the plant visit, the delegation visited Elite Steel’s Corporate Headquarters on 16 Gulshan Avenue, where senior leadership held further discussions on infrastructure needs, product innovation, and the role of private-sector manufacturers in national development.
During the closing session, MES presented a token of appreciation to the managing director of Elite Steel, recognizing the company’s contribution.
