A fire that broke out at Khoddor Bazar Shopping Complex at Zero Point in Gulistan, Dhaka, has been brought under control.
Nine firefighting units brought the fire under control at 6:06pm on Friday, said Shahjahan Sikder, in-charge (media) of the media of the Fire Service and Civil Defence Department.
The Fire Service received news of the blaze at 5:28pm.
The fire started in a warehouse on the roof of the eight-storey commercial building. The cause of the fire was not known immediately.
The Fire Service control room added that the extent of damage and cause of the fire were yet to be determined. No casualties have been reported.
