The Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Dhaka, which was closed after noon yesterday due to security reasons, has resumed normal operations from Thursday morning.
This has been confirmed by IVAC.
Earlier, considering the prevailing situation, it was decided to keep the Indian Visa Application Center at Jamuna Future Park in Dhaka closed from 2pm on Wednesday (17 December). IVAC Bangladesh posted a notice regarding the closure on its website.
The notice stated that no activities would take place after 2pm on Wednesday due to the security situation.
It also mentioned that applicants who had slots or appointments scheduled for Wednesday would be given a new date and time later.
