Prof Dr Md Mamun Habib, Head of the Department of Management at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), has received ‘Excellence Researcher Award’ at the International Higher Education Excellence Award 2025, conferred by Shinawatra University, Thailand (SIU).
The award, presented on December 22, 2025, recognizes research impact and international academic collaboration.
Prof Habib thanked SIU and Dr Chanyanan Somthawinpongsai, Director of the International Reputation Center, for the nomination.
In a statement, he said the recognition reflects IUB’s focus on quality education and research, adding that the School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE) continues to work on research and academic leadership.
Earlier this month, Prof Habib received the ‘Supply Chain Management Award’ at the 8th IEOM Bangladesh International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, held at World University of Bangladesh.
