A man was killed by his stepson following an altercation with him over a family dispute in Kahaloo upazila of Bogra on Thursday afternoon. The victim was identified as Milon alias “Tiger Milon”, 30. His son Shamim Hossain, 22, hit him with a bamboo stick in front of a local livestock hospital at Palpara. Milon was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Police arrested Shamim and his mother Meghna Begum, 35 the same night. On Friday morning, Kahaloo Police Station Officer-in-Charge Nitai Chandra Sarker said the body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy and a murder case is being prepared.
