A Dhaka court has postponed the date for recording testimony in the corruption case involving the allocation of a 30-katha Rajuk plot in Purbachal to Azmina Siddique, daughter of Sheikh Rehana.
The testimony of the investigation officer was scheduled for Sunday, but could not take place.
Judge Md Rabiul Alam of Dhaka Special Judge’s Court 4 later fixed January 5 next year as the new date for recording testimony, a bench assistant of the court confirmed.
Former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Azmina Siddique, Tulip Rezwana Siddique, and 18 others have been named in the case.
